The Melexis MLX92352 3-axis programmable Hall effect latch/switch is sensitive to the magnetic field of the X, Y, and Z axes used for packaging. On the open drain output of the device, it is possible to combine various axes of ZX, ZY, XY, XX, YY or ZZ. The MLX92,352 provides a final configurable pitch independent magnetic design with a 90 ° phase shift.
The Melexis MLX92352 three-axis programmable Hall effect latch/switch allows pcb free module design without external passive components, saving space and total module cost for automotive and industrial applications. In addition, MLX92352 can withstand 15kV HBM and 8kV system ESD, and has high EMC robustness.
When the MLX92352 is configured as a dual magnetic latch, it provides magnetic flexibility by detecting the rotation speed and direction of the annular magnet. It can also switch two independent magnets with complex position design. Users can benefit from the MLX92352 End of Line (EoL) programming function to trim mechanical tolerances. It can be programmed using PTC04 or EVB2.
