Cherry's extensive range of energy harvesting wireless switches for industrial applications is now available in two standard versions: rocker switches for manual actuation or snap-action switches for mechanical actuation (usually used by machines as limit or position switches) . Both models can be used in the European (868MHz) or North American (915MHz) frequency bands, the radio range inside the building is 30m, and the minimum service life is 100,000 times.
Compatible 868MHz and 915MHz closed standard receiver modules provide several output interface options and are equipped with a power supply, suitable for wall mounting. Flexible pairing allows one switch to operate multiple receivers or one receiver to operate multiple switches. "Unique ID" prevents interference between different RF switches.
Energy harvesting wireless switches are seen as an ideal alternative to traditional wired solutions for monitoring and managing industrial installations. The device is easy to install, requires no maintenance, and does not cause malfunction due to cable damage. Installing wireless switches gives users greater flexibility in the planning process for building and industrial automation because they do not require complex and expensive cables and can be easily retrofitted.
Energy harvesting generators / generators with PCB are also available.
