    Melexis has launched a free online simulation tool for magnetic sensor evaluation and module design. By leveraging simulation applications, engineers can quickly design customized magnetic sensor modules to their own specifications. The tool enables the customer's engineering team to design and simulate their own magnets based on the company's Triaxis 2D/3D sensors.

    It simulates sensor performance in customer applications with high accuracy and stray field immunity. Simulation with this precision can significantly improve and speed up the design cycle of sensor modules. It has also developed this free online simulation application for its Triaxis line of magnetic sensors, including linear and rotational applications.

    Simulating a multipole magnet is not easy because it involves complex physics. As a result, simulators with this level of functionality are not typically available at zero cost from the manufacturer. It chose to make its simulation tool free to use and include as much simulation functionality as possible. This makes it more complete than competing tools because it provides results that are closer to the performance of real sensors.
